The Del Mar Foundation plans a wide variety of events offering something for all members of the community including adults, families, and children young and old. Many of our events require registration. For earliest access to registration opportunities, please join our mailing list below.

Cinema By the Sea

Cinema by the Sea is our series of three outdoor movies.  The first movie, in May, is on the beach while the remainder are viewed in Powerhouse Park.

Community Night Out

“Community Night Out” events bring newly-arrived and longtime residents, neighbors and friends together.

Dog Meet & Greet

Several times a year, Del Mar dogs bring their owners to casual gatherings to meet friends and neighbors. Examples include Valentine’s Day and the Annual Halloween Dog Parade.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt at Seagrove Park provides an opportunity for kids from 0-12 to meet the Easter Bunny and fill their baskets.

Fourth of July Parade

The Independence Day Parade includes decorated bikes, scooters and strollers traveling in a loop up Coast Boulevard followed by hosted treats, lemonade and music in Powerhouse Park.

Picnic at Powerhouse Park

The Picnic at Powerhouse Park is an opportunity for the community to have fun, enjoy music and learn about the many different non-profit groups in the city.

Spooktacular Bonfire

The bonfire on the beach features s’mores galore and old fashioned family fun, with spooky tales and music for all.
