Dr. Molly McClain
DMFTalk speaker Dr. Molly McClain is a professor of History at the University of San Diego and the author of Ellen Browning Scripps: New Money and American Philanthropy. McClain, a 9th generation San Diegan and a member of the board of the La Jolla Historical Society, is the author of three other books and many articles on US and British history. Among her other honors: USD’s distinguished University Professorship and the Davies Award for Faculty Achievement. She earned her PhD at Yale University.
