40th Anniversary Dog Calendar

To celebrate the Foundation’s 40th Anniversary next year, we are producing a Dog Calendar that will feature dogs professionally photographed at several iconic Del Mar locations: Del Mar Plaza, Shores Park, a private garden setting, and of course, Dog Beach.

We invite you to showcase YOUR dog (or dogs) in this calendar, which will be a professionally-designed spiral-bound “perpetual” calendar which you can use for years to come to keep track of important occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.

To sign up:

  1. Decide on the calendar placement you want for your dog(s) by Tier.
  2. Check out the available photography locations and shoot dates/times on this Google Appointment Calendar and select your preferred date and time.
  3. Use the DMF Dog Calendar Sign-Up Form, below, to sign up! Use this form to select your photo shoot date/time.
  4. Use the PayPal button on this page to make your donation – or make your donation by check, payable to Del Mar Foundation, and mailed to PO Box 2913, Del Mar, CA 92014.  If you would like to confirm your tier or shooting date/time availability before making your donation, that’s fine – you can contact the project team at the email address below.


You can choose one of the following Tiers to participate in this project:

Tier 4: Your dog’s photograph will appear opposite a randomly assigned week. Donation: $275

Tier 3: Your dog’s photograph will appear opposite a specific week of your choice. Donation: $500

Tier 2: Your dog’s photograph will appear on the back cover. Donation: $2500

Tier 1: Your dog’s photograph will appear on the front cover. Donation: $5000

The cover, back cover, and specific weeks are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If your selected placement has already been taken, one of the members of the project team (Dillon or Annie) will contact you by email or phone to let you know, and to discuss your options. Also, the Appointments Calendar will be updated regularly to show appointment times that have already been taken, but in the event of a schedule conflict, Dillon or Annie will contact you to confirm an alternate time for you.

Since this is a perpetual calendar, the weeks for each month will begin with these dates: 1st, 8th, 15th, 21st, and 28th.

All participants will receive one Calendar, which will be available for pickup at the Foundation’s Halloween Dog Parade on Saturday, October 30. Additional copies of the Calendar can be pre-ordered. (Check back shortly for the pre-order form.)

Step 1

  • Use the DMF Dog Calendar Sign Up form below to to select your tier and photography shooting date/time.
  • If necessary use the scrollbar on the right edge of the form to scroll down. Once you’ve completed the form, make sure to hit the “SUBMIT” button at the bottom to send your information.
  • Available photoshoot times can be see in the schedule to the right/below. Once we receive your information, we will add your initials to the date/time you have selected.

Step 2

  • After you have completed and submitted your information, please see the options below the form and schedule for making a donation to the Del Mar Foundation based on the tier you have selected.
