Children's event: Get ready for St. Patrick's Day with a craft from the Del Mar Library and an interactive Irish Dance Performance from Jeannie Thornton O'Connor and the Clan Rince School of Irish Dance. The program is a high energy dynamic and colorful dance exhibition of traditional Irish dance steps set to lively upbeat music. The dancers will be performing a variety of reels, jigs and hornpipes in vibrant costumes. The dancers interact with the audience and teach them about the history of the dances, their costumes and a bit about Irish geography. Adult supervision required. |
