Don’t miss the San Diego debut performance by The Gibson Brothers, in a special appearance in Del Mar’s intimate oceanfront venue, The Del Mar Powerhouse.
With their brother harmonies “surpassed by no one in today's bluegrass and Americana field,” the Gibson Brothers are currently charting at #1 on the National Bluegrass Charts (Jan. ’10) for both album and song.
Their first album in 1994 “served notice that the sibling harmonies of predecessors like the Louvin Brothers and the Everly Brothers were being carried forward by a new generation” (CMT.com). The Gibson Brothers and their outstanding band are widely acclaimed as “the real deal,” writing and performing music that is true to the roots of bluegrass, country and traditional music, while pushing the boundaries as “songwriters working with a contemporary lexicon of language and issues” (Coast Weekly).
